Hi! I’m Ashley.

Pennsylvania Photographer of love, people & places.

Or at least I used to be. I’m a former full-time photographer turned Creative Arts Professional just trying to find a balance between life, work & a passion for people and photography. I’m a dreamer, storyteller, and lover of all things joyful at heart. For too many years, I was an overworked wedding/ family photographer trying to be everything to everyone until I realized that I was burnt out and the job I had worked so hard at was no longer sustainable. After I moved to Pittsburgh in 2017 to live closer to my partner, Nick, I realized I needed a major change of pace. While still photographing clients at that time, I started working at Starbucks in early 2018 and began embracing a simpler approach to work rather than conforming to the hustle mindset. Looking back, I’m very grateful for my years of running my photography business. I learned so many valuable lessons, had the opportunity to meet and work with lovely people, and embraced so many wonderful and challenging experiences while creating images and memories to hopefully last a lifetime.

These days, yes, I am still accepting photography opportunities occasionally with a more balanced, intentional approach. And who knows, maybe my switch in gears may encourage other people in a similar situation to do the same. My main goal is to cheer you on wherever you are in life and capture memories for you that you and your loved ones can cherish for many years to come.

Most days…

Most days you can find me spending time with my fiancé Nick and our two kitties Smokey & Phoebe, visiting with friends & family, seeing movies, shopping, baking or watching tv shows. I am an avid lover of cats, comfy clothes, coffee, and all things peanut butter.
